إِذَا ٱلشَّمۡسُ كُوِّرَتۡ (١)

English Sahih : When the sun is wrapped up [in darkness] (1)

Deutsch Aburida : Wenn die Sonne eingerollt ist (1)

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّجُومُ ٱنكَدَرَتۡ (٢)

English Sahih : And when the stars fall, dispersing, (2)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die Sterne trübe sind (2)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجِبَالُ سُيِّرَتۡ (٣)

English Sahih : And when the mountains are removed (3)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die Berge fortbewegt werden (3)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡعِشَارُ عُطِّلَتۡ (٤)

English Sahih : And when full-term she-camels are neglected (4)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die trächtigen Kamelstuten vernachlässigt werden (4)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡوُحُوشُ حُشِرَتۡ (٥)

English Sahih : And when the wild beasts are gathered (5)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn wildes Getier versammelt wird (5)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡبِحَارُ سُجِّرَتۡ (٦)

English Sahih : And when the seas are filled with flame (6)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die Meere zu einem Flammenmeer werden (6)

وَإِذَا ٱلنُّفُوسُ زُوِّجَتۡ (٧)

English Sahih : And when the souls are paired (7)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die Seelen (mit ihren Leibern) gepaart werden (7)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡمَوۡءُ ۥدَةُ سُٮِٕلَتۡ (٨)

English Sahih : And when the girl [who was] buried alive is asked (8)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn das lebendig begrabene Mädchen gefragt wird (8)

بِأَىِّ ذَنۢبٍ۬ قُتِلَتۡ (٩)

English Sahih : For what sin she was killed (9)

Deutsch Aburida : "Für welch ein Verbrechen wurdest du getötet?" (9)

وَإِذَا ٱلصُّحُفُ نُشِرَتۡ (١٠)

English Sahih : And when the pages are made public (10)

Deutsch Aburida : Und wenn Schriften weithin aufgerollt werden (10)

وَإِذَا ٱلسَّمَآءُ كُشِطَتۡ (١١)

English Sahih : And when the sky is stripped away (11)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn der Himmel weggezogen wird (11)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَحِيمُ سُعِّرَتۡ (١٢)

English Sahih : And when Hellfire is set ablaze (12)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn die Gahim angefacht wird (12)

وَإِذَا ٱلۡجَنَّةُ أُزۡلِفَتۡ (١٣)

English Sahih : And when Paradise is brought near, (13)

Deutsch Aburida : und wenn das Paradies nahegerückt wird (13)

عَلِمَتۡ نَفۡسٌ۬ مَّآ أَحۡضَرَتۡ (١٤)

English Sahih : A soul will [then] know what it has brought [with it]. (14)

Deutsch Aburida : dann wird jede Seele wissen, was sie mitgebracht hat. (14)

فَلَآ أُقۡسِمُ بِٱلۡخُنَّسِ (١٥)

English Sahih : So I swear by the retreating stars - (15)

Deutsch Aburida : Wahrlich, Ich schwöre bei den rückläufigen Sternen (15)

ٱلۡجَوَارِ ٱلۡكُنَّسِ (١٦)

English Sahih : Those that run [their courses] and disappear - (16)

Deutsch Aburida : den voraneilenden und den sich verbergenden (16)

وَٱلَّيۡلِ إِذَا عَسۡعَسَ (١٧)

English Sahih : And by the night as it closes in (17)

Deutsch Aburida : und bei der Nacht, wenn sie vergeht (17)

وَٱلصُّبۡحِ إِذَا تَنَفَّسَ (١٨)

English Sahih : And by the dawn when it breathes (18)

Deutsch Aburida : und Ich schwöre beim Morgen, wenn er zu aufatmen beginnt (18)

إِنَّهُ ۥ لَقَوۡلُ رَسُولٍ۬ كَرِيمٍ۬ (١٩)

English Sahih : [That] indeed, the Qur`an is a word [conveyed by] a noble messenger (19)

Deutsch Aburida : daß dies in Wahrheit ein Wort eines edlen Boten ist (19)

ذِى قُوَّةٍ عِندَ ذِى ٱلۡعَرۡشِ مَكِينٍ۬ (٢٠)

English Sahih : [Who is] possessed of power and with the Owner of the Throne, secure [in position], (20)

Deutsch Aburida : der mit Macht begabt ist bei dem Herrn des Throns und in Ansehen steht (20)

مُّطَاعٍ۬ ثَمَّ أَمِينٍ۬ (٢١)

English Sahih : Obeyed there [in the heavens] and trustworthy. (21)

Deutsch Aburida : dem gehorcht wird und der getreu ist (21)

وَمَا صَاحِبُكُم بِمَجۡنُونٍ۬ (٢٢)

English Sahih : And your companion is not [at all] mad. (22)

Deutsch Aburida : und euer Gefährte ist nicht ein Besessener. (22)

وَلَقَدۡ رَءَاهُ بِٱلۡأُفُقِ ٱلۡمُبِينِ (٢٣)

English Sahih : And he has already seen Gabriel in the clear horizon. (23)

Deutsch Aburida : Wahrlich, er sah ihn am klaren Horizont. (23)

وَمَا هُوَ عَلَى ٱلۡغَيۡبِ بِضَنِينٍ۬ (٢٤)

English Sahih : And Muhammad is not a withholder of [knowledge of] the unseen. (24)

Deutsch Aburida : Und er ist weder geizig hinsichtlich des Verborgenen (24)

وَمَا هُوَ بِقَوۡلِ شَيۡطَـٰنٍ۬ رَّجِيمٍ۬ (٢٥)

English Sahih : And the Qur`an is not the word of a devil, expelled [from the heavens]. (25)

Deutsch Aburida : noch ist dies das Wort Satans, des Verfluchten. (25)

فَأَيۡنَ تَذۡهَبُونَ (٢٦)

English Sahih : So where are you going? (26)

Deutsch Aburida : Wohin also wollt ihr gehen? (26)

إِنۡ هُوَ إِلَّا ذِكۡرٌ۬ لِّلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٢٧)

English Sahih : It is not except a reminder to the worlds (27)

Deutsch Aburida : Dies ist ja nur eine Ermahnung für alle Welten. (27)

لِمَن شَآءَ مِنكُمۡ أَن يَسۡتَقِيمَ (٢٨)

English Sahih : For whoever wills among you to take a right course. (28)

Deutsch Aburida : Für denjenigen unter euch, der aufrichtig sein will. (28)

وَمَا تَشَآءُونَ إِلَّآ أَن يَشَآءَ ٱللَّهُ رَبُّ ٱلۡعَـٰلَمِينَ (٢٩)

English Sahih : And you do not will except that Allah wills - Lord of the worlds. (29)

Deutsch Aburida : Und ihr werdet nicht wollen, es sei denn, daß Allah will, der Herr der Welten. (29)
